Hello, and welcome to today’s blog hop featuring brand new products from Avery Elle! If this is your first time visiting my blog, welcome! I hope you’ll stay for a while and take a look around! If you found me through the blog hop, you probably came here from Chanyan Wu‘s blog. She’s amazing, isn’t she? If you’re a regular visitor to my blog, thank you! And welcome to today’s blog hop!

I’m beyond thrilled to serve as Avery Elle’s guest designer this month, along with their super talented design team, to bring you a peek at these fantastic new products! I loved working with these new sets. They are just what you’d expect from Avery Elle. They continue to bring amazing new products every time! These will not disappoint, I promise! If you’ve visited the Avery Elle blog over the last few days, you will see what I mean.

I’m using the new Storybook stamp set for my card today. The sweet, storybook inspired, images are great for kid’s and baby themed cards, as well as projects for adults who enjoy animals and cute critters.

I made a card appropriate for a baby girl, because I’m running low on baby girl cards. There have been so many babies born to folks I know in the past year. Around 40 in our church alone! I don’t think I could ever have too many baby cards on hand!

I colored the little fawn and balloon with my Spectrum Noir markers before cutting them out and adhering them to my card with foam adhesive to make them stand out a bit. The spots on the fawn’s back and balloon were made using the clear blending marker. I also stamped some of the stars and sparkles behind the balloon for a fun, confetti, welcome-to-the-world party effect.

I love that these images work so well for either gender, and that little animals are so popular right now. Well actually, aren’t cute little animals always popular?

I know you’ll want to see what everyone else has created using the new products, so you can hop on over to Caryn Davies‘ blog from here. Or check out the full blog hop order below!

Wonderful stamping and coloring and layout. Great background paper choice. Excellent use of white space and I especially like the sweet gentleness of this card. It “feels” like it’s about a new baby. Well done.
