Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone! I just had to pop in here real quick and wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! May your day be filled with abundance and blessings and all things good!
We’re planning to celebrating Thanksgiving Day with Eric’s family. His mom’s cooking the turkey and we’re all helping with the rest of the food. I am so hungry for our Thanksgiving meal! Especially if there will be candied sweet potatoes! Yum! The sweet potatoes and stuffing are my favorites. What’s your favorite Thanksgiving dish?

In honor of Thanksgiving Day, Market Street Stamps is having a sale. 22% off from the 22nd to the 26th. Coupon code “TURKEY”. Plus, get a free mini of your choice with a qualifying order of $30 or more! You can check it out HERE.

We have so much to be thankful for! Health, freedom, family, friends, the list goes on and on! But this year we are also doubly thankful to still have my mom with us. She suffered a heart attack last Friday. She had 100% blockage in her artery and had three stents put in. She also has 70% blockage in two of her other arteries. But she is doing very well now, and the doctor is hopeful that they’ll be able to take care of the other blockage with medication. It was a grave reminder to appreciate our loved ones while we have them!

I have been super busy with packing and buying things for our new home. Each day is a whirlwind! So much to do! The entire house is a wreck right now with packed boxes and partially packed boxes and piles of stuff waiting to be packed. I started on my craft area last night and this is what it looks like at the moment. Be warned!

Just keepin’ it real, folks! That’s called progress right there, people!

Want to see something that’s (hopefully) prettier? I made this art journal page a while back of some things I’m loving right now.

I jotted down some random things that I’m loving right now with room to add a few more later if I want:

A bowl of hot oatmeal topped with fruit, nuts, and all kinds of yummy things. So healthy and so, so, so good! Maybe my very favorite breakfast food. A simple bowl of oatmeal! Who knew?

Pinterest. I seriously do NOT know how I ever survived without Pinterest! I don’t pin every day, but these days of planning for a new home, my Pineterest boards have come in handy more times than I can count. Everything from decor ideas to paint colors and window treatments. Pinterest makes all the days of keeping notes in my head, and jotting ideas down onto bits of paper or stuffing them into notebooks a  thing of the past. I don’t see my love affair with Pinterest dying down any time soon.

Facebook. My way of keeping in touch with my peeps and my world. I love that it lets me stay connected with people I would not be able to stay connected to otherwise. I love that it has helped renew friendships and help form connections with people that make a way for friendships to grow stronger. Casual acquaintances become friends and even total strangers become friends. Very cool.

Instagram. I’m still an Instagram newbie, but it is a very fun new thing for me. I love that it helps me to remember to take more photos of every day things in my life. Quick and easy.

My new iPhone. Need I say more? I’ve only had it for a few weeks and it’s already my life!

scarves, boots, fun accessories and clothes. Although I don’t spend much on them. I just can’t bring myself to spend much money on clothes and shoes. Just can’t!

My daily cup of coffee. These days I need it!

I’ll be posting on the  Market Street Stamps blog on Monday, so i hope you’ll join me for that. Plus I’ll be taking part in a fun blog hop soon. so I’ll be popping in here and there. Just whenever I feel like I can. No promises.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope it’s filled with love, laughter, and yummy food!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Glad to hear your mom is doing well. Must be pretty stressful with everything going on.. hope in this situation you still were able to have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
