Father’s Day is only a few days away. Have you made any plans to celebrate the special father in your life?
I’m not sure what we’ll be doing yet, but I’ll bet it will involve the grill and a lot of relaxing.
Today’s items are especially for Dad. First the card.
I kept things simple and and used some masculine colors and patterns that should suit Dad just fine. A little argyle, a little wood grain and a few handsome arrows thrown in for good measure.
Now for the gift card holder. Men can be very hard to shop for, wouldn’t you agree? I’m often at a loss when it comes to shopping for gifts for the guys. A gift card is a quick and painless way to ensure that special man gets a gift he will really be able to use and enjoy.
The only card I had lying around was a Wlamart gift card, but if this was for my husband it would most likely be holding a card for Cabela’s. My dad would probably enjoy a gift card to a nice restaurant or something.
Blue and orange paired with a tree image works well for a man, I think. Again, I have a little argyle along with some polka dots and stripes. A half circle with a brad finishes off the main image nicely.
It looks like we’ll have a nice weekend here for celebrating Father’s Day. Today is just gorgeous. A storm blew through last evening leaving us a breezy, warm day today with no humidity. The kids and I have taken to eating our lunch outside on the patio on days like this. It’s just another way to enjoy the outdoors, especially when it’s not unbearably hot and humid.
That’s all for today folks. Thanks for stopping by! Talk to you soon!
