I think it’s time for a giveaway!

Today was supposed to be the day I posted a new Makeover Monday project. I’m so sorry to say that it just didn’t happen today. I feel bad about that. I have a project that I’m excited to share with you, but I didn’t get time to quite finish it.
The last few weeks have been so hectic around here. Between the wedding, bridal shower, end of school year, and a birthday party coming up this week, preparing for kid’s camp this weekend and all the stuff that goes with those things and still keeping up with my family’s needs, I felt like I barely have time to breathe.

I was planning to get my project done this morning and then post it for you, but my two sisters-in-law and I decided we’d take all the kids swimming today. It kind of turned into an all day affair. I figured you guys would understand. That you all would patiently wait while I go make some memories with my kids for a bit.

So, I don’t have a project for you. I am postponing it a week. I hate to do that, but I’m planning a birthday party for Chloe later this week and have some obligations to take care of over the weekend, so I will plan to post it next Monday. Sound good? Thanks for understanding.

But guess what! Last month my three year blog anniversary quietly came and went without me noticing. How could that happen???
Sooooo, since I had a blog anniversary and I left you all hanging without a Makeover Monday project and you all are super special to me I’m giving away the goodies in the photo above.
All you have to do is leave a comment on this post for your chance to win. You can comment about anything you want to, but if you don’t mind, I’d love to hear where you’re from. That’s the kind of thing I wonder about when I read all the lovely comments you all are so wonderful about leaving here for me. Some of you I know personally, but most of you I don’t, so I would love to learn a little more about my readers.

The prize package includes:
3 pieces of patterned paper from BoBunny
2 pieces of patterned paper from Pink Paislee
1 Transpaerency from Hambly
1 package of vinyl accents from American Crafts
1 stamp pad in Bermuda Bay from Stampin’ Up!
1 package of crepe paper ribbon from Jenni Bowlin
1 package of brown grosgrain ribbon from Stampin’ Up!
2 containers of buttons from Michael’s
1 package of butterfly accents handmade by me
1 package of scallop circle accents handmade by me
1 package of crepe paper flowers handmade by me
1 felt accent made by me
4 fabric flowers hand made by me

I’ll pick a winner at the end of the week, say Friday or Saturday, OK? Good luck!

Hi Brenda I love your blogs. I learn so much from them, especially the one where you showed us how to take a picture from a magazine and use the colors and shapes to turn into a scrapbooking page or card. As you know I don’t have the confidence to do many pages or cards, but I figure your hints are definitely going to help me.
I have good days and bad days and July shows promise of everything getting better. I can’t wait!
    Have a wonderful summer.

Hi, Brenda! I was born in Chicago, and that’s where I grew up. I went to college in Michigan, which is where I met my husband. We lived in Philadelphia for 3 years, then in Erie PA for a year before settling in northern New Jersey. I absolutely love it here. It is a beautiful area of the country. Anyway, I sure hope I win your blog candy. I want to get my hands on all of those beautiful embellishments you made. Wowzer!! On a more personal note, if you have to choose between your children and your blog, go for your children! They grow up so quickly. Go out and make memories with them! Your blog readers will understand and keep coming back.
