convention display samples- part 3

Hey there! Happy Monday to ya!

We were away for the weekend, spending time with some sweet friends of ours at the beach. I haven’t been spending much time at all in my scrap space the last several days. I don’t have anything new to share, so I guess we’ll move on to the third installment of photos of the samples I created for the convention displays.

This card was made with the Sizzlits Join In the Cheer Decorative strip die. I die cut several of the strips out of white card stock and layered in on top of white card stock. I love this effect. I need to try this again sometime.

This next page was inspired by this photo I saw over at Decor8 and fell in love with the neutral colors and textures.

I thought it would be fun to try to incorporate those elements into a page. I like the results.

This one’s a decorated gift bag.

And some Christmas gift tags.

And one more card.

My kids start back to school on Thursday and, although I’m sorry to see summer come to an end, I am looking forward to a more regular schedule and a quieter, cleaner house with more time to spend on my crafting. During the summer months with the kids all here and the fun activities and gardening and everything else that fills up the summer months I don’t find the time to spend working on my cards and scrapbooks as I’d like to. Hopefully that can change a bit after school begins again.

Of course these are great since they were created by you. 🙂 I really love what you did with the background on the first one. I’m going to have to try that one. 🙂

I love hearing from my readers! Thanks for your comment!
