Scrappy Saturday! CI #54

You know sometimes things just don’t turn out the way you want them to? This weekend was one of those times. Our boys were heading off to a weekend church camp, Chloe was scheduled to go to babysitters, and Eric and I were going to have a weekend all to ourselves.

Last evening we got to go out for sushi and a movie. After the movie we got a call saying that one of our sons was sick at camp and we needed to come pick him up! We immediately scarfed down the fabulous chocolate dessert we had been enjoying and made the 40 minute drive to pick him up.

So much for a romantic weekend for two! Since I wasn’t going anywhere today that meant that I had time to put the finishing touches on the scrapbook page I had begun for Kristina’s Color Inspiration Challenge.

This week’s colors are teal, sky blue, pumpkin, green galore, and white.

I knew these colors would work so well with this photo of my son, Isaiah, at the pool last summer.
